Running the site, rather than writing what is in it. Writing is Editorial and the question bank; this section is the surfaces behind them.

• Settings — every section of /settings, who sees which, and where the editorial surfaces are reached from.

• Site policy — the four switches and the three values that apply to everybody.

• AI models — which model does each job, testing one, and the two knobs that are not settings.

• People and roles — the account list, throttling, and deleting somebody.

• Lab reference values — the table learners read during a session.

• Jobs and logs — what the machine has been asked to do, how long the record lasts, and what a lost worker looks like.

• The image bank — libraries, uploading, describing, and the 30-day bin.

Read this as moderator meaning "moderator or admin" throughout.

Controls a person cannot use are not drawn rather than shown and refused. That is deliberate, and it is why a grant holder's Editorial page looks smaller than a moderator's rather than louder.

Two rules that hold everywhere

A grant is edit only. Creating, deleting and publishing decide what the library contains and stay with moderators, on both the question and the article side. See Grants.

The Handbook

/handbook is the same material written for the people who maintain the site, served inside the application, and it is admin-gated by the route even though the page itself was written for any educator. It carries one thing this site cannot: the tutor's literal system prompt, read live from GET /teach/prompt, so what the tutor has been told can be audited rather than guessed at.
