Reading — the article library

Educator-reviewed articles, browsed through a category column browser or found by hybrid search, with figures, per-section notes and links both ways to the questions they explain.

• An article — the three depths, sections, references, notes, reading links, redirects and what "read" means.

• Search — what is fused with what, where the reranker is applied, and why questions are not searchable.

• Cross-references and cards — the [[…]] marker, hover previews, the glossary, and the link checker.

• Figures — attaching one, what an asset records, the slideshow, storage and the 30-day bin.

The same article component serves /editorial/articles/:id. Which mode it is in is carried in the address, not in a query flag: an article reached from the queue is being worked on, and the trail out of it leads back to the queue.

Reading has no editing controls at all. Writing starts in Editorial.
